I headed the departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Marmara University, International Hospital, Florence Nightingale Hospital and Kadir Has University in Istanbul. Then I founded my own medical center, Kalamis Medical Center and my own hospital, Jinemed Hospital.

I am a gynecologist. I have previously established many IVF centers in universities and hospitals. I helped establish IVF centers in Kosovo, Azerbaijan, Northern Iraq, Sarajevo and 2 cities in Turkey. Together with my team, we established the first IVF Center in Istanbul in 1990.
