How is Eyebrow Transplantation Done?
Eyebrow transplantation is usually performed using the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method. In this method, the individual’s own hair follicles are taken and transplanted to the eyebrow area. The process stages are as follows:
Consultation: First, a consultation is made with a specialist doctor. The doctor evaluates your eyebrow structure, listens to the current problems and understands the desired result. As a result of this evaluation, it is determined how many hair follicles are needed for which areas.
Donor Area Selection: Hair follicles to be used in eyebrow transplantation are usually taken from the nape or temple areas. These areas are usually resistant to shedding and contain healthy hair follicles.
Anesthesia: Local anesthesia is applied to the donor and transplantation areas before the procedure. In this way, you will not feel any pain or discomfort during the procedure.
Collection of Hair Follicles: Hair follicles are collected one by one using the FUE method. This process, which is done with a micro motor or by hand, allows the hair follicles to be extracted without damaging them.
Preparation of the Transplantation Area: Micro channels are opened to place the hair follicles in the areas where eyebrow transplantation will be performed. These channels allow the hair follicles to be placed naturally.
Hair Root Transplantation: The collected hair roots are placed one by one into the opened channels. At this stage, the aim is to achieve a natural appearance carefully. Healing Process: There may be slight redness and crusting after the procedure. However, these symptoms usually pass within a few days. Although the healing process varies from person to person, you can usually return to your social life within a week.
